What is CrossKids?
CrossKids is the children's ministry of The Cross Community Church. It houses our nursery program, children's church on Sunday mornings, and our CrossKids Sunday night program. Every Sunday babies to fifth grade kids experience a safe, age appropriate environment curated for them. Here they will experience the Bible taught in a creative and relevant way. Join us on Sundays and let your kids meet Jesus on their level!
What We Value
Safety
We will provide a safe environment for children to enjoy. We want children to be safe and feel safe, and parents to rest assured that their child is well cared-for while they are in the service. For this reason, we obtain applications and background checks on every volunteer. Adults are never alone with children, and there are always two adults with children at all times.
Fun
We want your child to have fun! Our desire is to see your child have such a good time they will be begging you to come back next week. We believe creating this fun environment for kids will help children learn more about Jesus. We use games, crafts, props, and creative stories to communicate the message, and we think it’s okay to have a good time at church.
Truth
We don’t want to simply entertain children, and we’re not here to babysit. We want children to learn about Jesus. Lessons about Christ and the Bible will be age appropriate and will help them understand God’s love and plan for their life.

We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. Cross Kids is partnering with parents by providing resources, support, and encouragement as they lead their families from where they are to where God wants them to be.

We all come to situations in our lives where we battle in our minds between being the leader the God made us to be and doing what's comfortable. Take your students through this 8-week kids series that highlights different leaders in the Bible and the challenges they faced. This series utilizes games and songs to teach kids impactful lessons like courage, obedience, and God's faithfulness.

What to Expect on Your First Visit
Our greet team will show you to the way to your first stop, the child check-in area. Here, a volunteer will ask you for some information so that we know how best to serve you and your child or children. We will ask you thinks like your child's name, age, allergies, and collect your contact information. Then, you will create a PIN that will be used to drop off and pick up your child. From there, a volunteer will escort your child to the correct classroom for their age group. If for any reason, we need you during the service you will be notified via text message to the number or numbers you put on file with us. CrossKids Sunday Evenings
On Sunday Evenings we offer a CrossKids Program at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for grades Kindergarten through 5th. Your kids will experience a fun hour and a half of food, fun and Christ- centered activities! That's right, we feed them dinner too! This is at the same time as our youth program for grades 6th through 12th. Please check our social media for any updates!
